Beyond Understanding
I am writing since you believe,
Through the Son of God you receive;
Eternal life that goes beyond,
Than just sharing a common bond.
We are confident God does hear,
Since knowing He is always near;
With everything we request,
When getting things off our chest.
So we know of what we may ask,
By no means too big of a task;
Since He knows we are true to heart,
Whatever that we may impart.
For death no longer comes from sin,
Since forgiveness will cleanse within;
When admitting guilt of intent,
And serious as you repent.
Our confidence is in Christ,
Knowing why He was sacrificed;
Not questioning His commanding,
That goes beyond understanding.
