Turning To Stone

Photobucket
i reached into my pocket bringing out the letter
i have gotten to where i carry it around with me
to remind myself that i am alone without love
my heart curls within itself turning to stone

i seem to make matters worse with my actions
scaring the ones i love away with my own fears
my own insecurities driving them away from me
my heart curls within itself turning to stone

i know now that i will be alone for the rest of my life
the pain i feel every time i get a letter is unbearable
i cant face the pain anymore so i will leave it behind
my heart curls within itself turning to stone

i will leave these heartaches behind find a new life
one where ill be alone to forget lose myself forever
with my own endeavors where pain will never find me
my heart curls within itself turning to stone
