On His Behalf
Ever since we played back then
While kids in school today now men
Are what we are but changed would come
To separate whose lost, whose won
In words I've tried to touch his soul
To tell him of whose hands has hold
Yet faith is lost and so is him
My friend and brother almost our twin
We reach out to him everyday
Speaking of things he has to slay
But when we come to see again
His soul seems dead, no ear to lend
Your will not mine we try to put
Upon a heart we wish we could
Deliver you before his eyes
To free a soul living but lies
Anger consumes whats left of him
To be quite honest my words won't win
This battle that he fights today
A life shattered today we pray
Again for you to intervene
On his behalf to be redeemed
Before the Potter that molds all things
From pain that brings him suffering
On his behalf we lay today
My friend, we love for you to lay
Hands upon a son to you
Lifting whats left to mold him too
