Poetic Verses
Unheard Voice
Softly reaching out in word
an unknown voice is seldom heard,
amid the din of every day,
a venue lost along the way
Poetic phrase an unknown joy
The rhyme escapes each girl and boy
who speak and write in brief chatter
Eloquence on deaf ears scatter
Lost the art of metered rhyme
engulfed, now, in another time
where penned sonnets are replaced
Text in electronic haste
With loud voice I try to scream
to no one but my lonely dream
Poetically, it is my choice
The words I pen, my unheard voice
