Was it just another lie when you said we were meant to be?

But as the years passed, you ripped it apart.
I need to understand what state of mind that your in,
I no longer have my lover, my best friend.
You once looked at me so tenderly,
Now where is the love that you promised me?
All I wanted was you to love me,
Putting no one but God.....above me.
You lied, you cheated as time passed by,
Many nights I would sit alone and cry.
You are not here to hold me so lovingly,
Now where is the love that you promised me?
You said you would love me until the end of time,
Now the bed you are sharing is no longer mine.
What happen to that loving hug as you went out the door?
That special wink, sweet kiss which I have no more.
The wedding ring that acknowledge that you have a wife,
You have taken off, and went on with your life.
I miss that special look from across the room,
A room that is now filled with unhappiness and gloom.
I once was precious and your pride and joy,
Now I am thrown away like a broken toy.
You don't know you have made me feel.
It hurts like hell, and this pain is real.
It is sad, the end have come to be,
I no longer have the love you promised me.
