Can a Christian fall from God's grace?
Some may give up in running the race
All who truly believe are eternally secure
No way of losing your salvation for sure
Satan wants to destroy your passion and fire
Tempting you to replace your One true desire
By giving Satan an inch, your life he will invade
Deep joy of Jesus in your heart eventually fades
How do you get your passion and fire back?
Quality time in His Word gets you on track
Write down what you learn and then obey
There are no shortcuts in our lives everyday
Unrepentant sin keeps you out of His will
But the Holy Spirit lives in your heart still
Sin can easily lure us into its dead end snare
Confess it to God and move on from there
Examine the focus of your motivations
External and internal have limitations
Circumstances can change over time
Only an eternal mindset lasts a lifetime
Too often we are impatient in our daily walk
Or we just go through the motions by our talk
God is not finished working inside of our heart
We try to run ahead, when that is not our part
Live expectantly through your daily journey
God is preparing you step by step for eternity
Sometimes progress can be stagnant or slow
Remain faithful and you will change and grow
God may be saying to get off the fence today
Living halfway between your old selfish ways
When God wants a heart of total commitment
It is a daily choice and path toward fulfillment
The Spirit gives all believers at least one gift
For the benefit of reaching others and uplift
It is the same Spirit that equips for ministry
Enabling us to use our talents for His glory
