Imitate God
Imitate God since you are,
The children that He loves;
Gleaming light from a star.
Live in the love as Christ,
The same as He loved us;
Being self sacrificed.
Never let any kind,
Of sin taking control;
To obsess heart and mind.
Dirty and foolish talk,
Never leave spew from lips;
That misguides where you walk.
So give thanks to the Lord,
And remaining on guard;
Staying in one accord.
Temptation tries to test,
Luring you into sin;
As it pursues its quest.
You once lived in the dark,
But God fills you with light;
To righteously embark.
So wake up sleepyhead,
Christ will shine upon you;
So no longer be dead.
