our lamps have grown dim
if THINE light be gone
how vacant, how frail
our souls shall suffer
if THY oil vanish....
O Lord, Spring up an oil well
in all saved humanity
overflowing through the lands
running through every valley and stream
pushing into every tribe
all across the nation
from sea to shinning sea
forcefully flooding our cities
invading every lost soul
reviving cold hearts....
O Holy LIGHT of the world
Thou whose sweet oil
has been pressed at Gethsemane
You who were crushed into death
as Your blood left Your body
mans hope had died...
THEN, up from the grave
YOU arose, bursting forth
hence...
THE LIGHT of THE WORLD
oil of the gospel of grace
oil of love and mercy
bringing the TRUTH
freedom for sinners
to come and bath in
YOUR RIVER of UNENDING OIL....
Father we need oil from God the Holy Ghost.
