One of These Days
Yesterday did come and go
As does today and so it goes
Another chance for reasons why
Another day that's passed me by
One of these days I'll sit and write
Another poem in book that might
Be the one someone will read
To know of Him who intercedes
A life in need to breathe again
A write instilled, truly Godsend
To make way, to give one sight
To win this war of worldly plight
One of these days I'll see the man
Who changed the course for us once damned
For in all hands fate holds the key
To be what GOD made us to be
A new creature before His eyes
Forgiven by passion that reigns the sky
By hands and feet that held and walked
The many miles to love not mock
One of these days maybe just briefly
I'll see and know who loves me sweetly
When bow we will before my maker
The giver of Life and my sin taker
