When Rise We do
Simple is amazing grace
Poured on your soul we seem to waste
Ignore the call before our eyes
Failing to hear what in us dies
GOD calls each one of us
To serve, to share, to Him entrust
The needs you seek that drain blessings
Poured down from Heaven ignored confessing
Your name is on His mind each day
Though short we fall and fail to pray
To He who rose that saved the best
For you and I and nothing less
Be still, listen and hear his voice
Thy better half, thy better choice
Speaks to hearts more stone today
The day will come when this world fades
Mere mortal you was made by one
Image of Him, beloved sons
Daughter who cries in lonely night
Take heed and know the guiding light
Rise all will who serve the one
Who gave His all and still not done
Who waits on you and all to say
Forgive me Lord on knees to pray
Pride and greed will be downfalls
To those selfish, on sphere this ball
You now call home will melt like wax
Before your eyes and that's a fact
So rise and become with One
Who walked the path of death and won
Today will come and too will end
Where will your soul eternity spend?
