The Storms Today
The rain unseen that doesn't fall
The Thunder claps will not befall
On you today in storm you're in
Windless the day, Sunlight too dim
The snow and sleet that brings the ice
When travel plans are thought of twice
Will not become the reasons why
Shelter we seek with heartfelt sighs
The storm raging that claims a soul
Is in the hands that don't take hold
Of He that brings all safe from harm
In storms He's known to instill calm
The peace of day and every night
The many things that don't go right
Will change by Him that has control
Proved by facts in Best Seller sold
Subside all storms that bring distress
To you who reads today distressed
Know of peace that reigns from far
Though many may think it's just too hard
Take heart and give all things today
That haunt their way to soul enslaved
With sincere faith these storms will pass
As light prevails on shadows cast
The perfect storm will overcome
The death in you to help become
The child, the son, beloved one
The fight you're in is His and won
