This Prison!
In this prison of silence
I feel my soul scream,
So loud and so endless
In circles - unseen!
The sharpness is cutting
My heart into shreds,
And leaving me bleeding
The dance of the dead!
With nobody listening
And nobody near,
I punch at time's terror
And shout at it's fear!
Sometimes spots of sunshine
Flicker - then fade,
Roller-coast teasing-
So fast turns to shade!
The clock chimes it's music,
In the midst of a cry,
As I fall into blackness
Just waiting to die!
