Separation.......
I looked at you today ,like a stranger was standing before me;
I had no words to say, only a memory that had once been;
Your eyes where filled with sorrow ,you looked so defeated....
You dream of your tomorrow, I am left depleted;
"No going back", I hear that echo ring,
Onward and upwards I feel your heart sing;
Had some real good moments, and some I cannot contemplate,
Have made some bad judgments, that left me in this state;
I do hope the sorrow will lift, as time moves along,
And you confidence comes swift, and you find were you belong;
I do have some regrets, like many have before me
And when I think of you, I will remember our wondrous journey;
