 The Skeptic
This is a true story about Lee
Skeptic and atheist, you see
So convinced God did not exist
He became a legal journalist

Bad relationship with his dad
Little love for him as a lad
His earthly father did not care
There could not be a God up there

Choosing to live an immoral life
Anger towards family and wife
Kicking out holes in the wall
Drunken rages that affected all

With his wife as an agnostic
Perfect match in every statistic
A friend introduces her to Jesus
Her life began positive changes

By telling Lee she was a Christian
He thought divorce was now certain
Not wanting to be a holy roller
But their marriage was not over

After he agreed to go to church
It began to influence him so much
That he started to do his own search
Lasting two whole years of research

Did Jesus claim to be the Son of God?
Did He prove it by rising from the dead?
Evidence for both was overwhelmingly true
He was finally ready to make a decision too

My friend, you may have questions and doubts
Please do not be afraid to check them all out
If a man's heart, so against God, can change
Anything is possible with God, at whatever age
