1,000 lifetimes here I spent
in less than 1,000 hours I will have to leave

I want to seep between the seams of the wallpaper to stay safe in the comfortable safety of this room

1,000 healings here I spent
in less than 1,000 healings left I will have to leave

No remnant,no shadow of myself will I hastily look behind
to remind me that I was here in sickness, sorrow and loss

The next set of footsteps that enter will feel me-
see me in the dim light of the red, black and gold hall

My new healed self
clasping the Buddha as I leave
