Forgive Me, But My Heart Gets No Joy In Your Downfall
You have chosen the deceptive and dangerous road of deceit,
The players have to play…
The eaters got to eat,
With every step the pavement sticks ever tighter
to the soles of your feet
But reality is too strong of an opponent to retrieve
or give in to human demands,
He has destroyed millions upon millions on the waterless beach sand
in this unforgiving land
I told my eyes not to weep if the flower refuses to bloom,
But my heart is sad…the sun is going down soon
There'll be no light from the stars
or warmth from the moon
Deception has made strong her bars
and deep her pit
The memory of times you wasted
keeps passing by my eyes as I sit,
My heart keeps taking hits
