The seas are rolling
Like my mind
And my sea legs
Move on their own
As the winds
Of my mind.
A Pirate's Life is
Filled with adventure
My daily Captain's
Orders are
The order of the Sea,
Sky, and the wooden
Home that moves
Beneath my feet.
Salt and sun
Are my skin
Saber and pistol
My arms
The Ocean my legs
The sails
My lungs
The boat
My belly
Hungry for
Treasure.
Gun powder blast
Is my perfume
The clash of steel
And the splintering of wood
Like sweet nothings
From my lover
Battle cries
Like the
Crescendo of
Sea and sex.
I love my job.
The Kings and Queens
Of the Old world
Are already fat
With bounty
And what I take
Is hard earned
Unlike the pillaged
Goods of foreign soils
We spend our spoils
On the locals
Who deserve
And need our
Gold
Far more
Than those
Of afar
Who would never
Share it
In the first place.
Hoist the colors!
Let the black sail
Strike fear
Aim true our cannons
Send the fatted
Pigs as a feast
To Davy Jones Locker
And we shall
Pick the bones
In the shallows
Our reward.
Avast!
This Pirate's Life
Is mine!
So join the ranks
Or be sold
As a slave.
Make trouble
And Davey Jones
Will be your Bridegroom.
