Summer Always Leaves Us
It's the way the gentle breeze blows
It's the way the rippling river flows
It's the way the green grass grows
It's that everyone knows
Summer cannot stay
Soon it will fade away
Every season comes to an end
Summer will come again
Autumn colors reach their peak
Trees, leaves, flowers, grass all speak
Falling leaves twirl to the ground
Birds fly homeward bound
A passing sadness
Yet, a new season of gladness
Blue skies turn gray
Over the earth darkness will lay
Scents of summer long gone
Birds no longer sing their song
Every season comes to an end
Summer will come again
