Poetry For Everyday People
Balance
we're given one wing,
in heaven balance
is single,
tilted weight
is love heavily
leaning,
imagine a rose
as Dali
without a stem,
floating,
home alone we
fill our dog's water bowl
with fresh water,
good at taken care
of others, trying to
scratch an ache,
that place
in the middle
of our backs
like memories.
in heaven balance
is single,
tilted weight
is love heavily
leaning,
imagine a rose
as Dali
without a stem,
floating,
home alone we
fill our dog's water bowl
with fresh water,
good at taken care
of others, trying to
scratch an ache,
that place
in the middle
of our backs
like memories.
