The Deception
Like a script from a movie scene
Never I expected such a twist in plot
I was the damsel fallen in love with him
While he played Romeo to her
How could I not see?
The love he professed to me
Was not meant to be
I gave him my heart
It should not have been start
Now it's broken in parts
Torn and bruised
For his selfish reasons
This was the worst season
Thought love would sizzle
Instead it fizzled
Time will pass
Surely I will meet
Someone caring and sweet
Make me feel new
Like he never knew
These words I speak
Make me sound weak
That's because no one else
Has hurt me so deep,
And so I weep
