It's a beautiful day
It's a beautiful life
Close your eyes now
Don't worry about
Toil or strife
It's the warmth of the sun
It's the smell of the rain
Let your heart feel
The healing instead
Of the pain
It's a stroke of his back
It's the hand on her cheek
Turn your touch to
The unspoken love
That you seek
It's the lilt of birdsong
It's the roar of the seas
And it's felt in
The kiss and caress
Of the breeze
It's an unbidden smile
It's a generous word
That gives us that
Assurance we all
Can be heard
It's the gift of a prayer
It's a hand that you lend
And with every
Kind act it's the peace
That you send
It's a child's first steps
It's two lovers' first kiss
And the happy
Homecoming of one
We have missed
It's a beautiful life
