Till This Day
In thought so hard to comprehend
What He would do to so offend
A people made by hands His own
A people His, He they disowned
Pray He would to pass the cup
I'm sure all would have had enough
Upon their heart, why should they go
To death for One, His death real slow
Till this day many still ask
What would compel His soul to task
With problems theirs, sin Earth born
Upon His death, The Veil now torn
Till this day His rise questioned
By some whose mind unmoved would mention
The very act that gave them life
The final act to give all sight
What would you do if you were there
Before the Cross that three would bare
Two whose fate was their just due
One who gave His life for you
Till this day beliefs all ours
Will fail to know of He who towers
Above all things that are today
Above where saved are those He saves
Till this day as has been written
Are you who doubts who has been given
A chance unlike man would give One
Who came to be, Gods only son
Till this day as yesterday
Till this day and as always
He lives and calls and beckons you
To change your heart He knows of too
All one can have and all one needs
Is CHRIST who knows whats best for thee
Till This Day, are you still loved
