Living for the Goal
We have seen and we have heard,
We have touched it and observed;
For this life has been revealed,
When the book will be unsealed.
There is without any doubt,
What we testify about;
Exactly what we proclaim,
Of the presence in His name.
Knowing within our soul,
We are living for the goal;
Of eternal life to gain,
When Jesus has come to reign.
We relate to the Father,
And His Son as a Brother;
While living in the light,
He is sharing some insight.
But ourselves we deceive,
If we truly do believe;
Of not being so sinful,
And ourselves as the fool.
But if willing to confess,
God would be willing to bless;
By erasing it to forgive,
In reaching that goal to live.
