Believers are Justified
The Lord has never broken,
A promise that was spoken;
Of anything you have heard,
As stated within His Word.
If we gain inheritance,
It is a great importance;
Not being a bunch of fools,
And keep following His rules.
They were given when done wrong,
Of what does not belong;
A way to identify,
And you cannot justify.
If those laws can give us life,
They can also give us strife;
When you go and disobey,
Deciding to go astray.
But the world is gripped by sin,
Power controlled deep within;
But released if you believe,
And to the cross that you cleave.
So if you belong to Christ,
He helps not to be enticed;
A guardian in control,
For watching over your soul.
