Real Intercession
We have turned against the Lord,
And have completely ignored;
Everything He has taught,
Doing things what we should not.
In our hearts is deceit,
Thoughts that seem to be so sweet;
For lust has much more appeal,
From the pleasure it makes us feel.
God sees and He is angered,
For we have malingered;
And I just have to confess,
That we have made such a mess.
No more we honor and laud,
Putting us in front of God;
No one will be spared His wrath,
On the immoral path.
Moving like a rushing stream,
You will hear so many scream;
Vengeful eyes with raging coat,
A fierce sword slashing each throat.
Time now for intercession,
And pleading for salvation;
Go on your knees and confess,
For our Savior to bless.
