A Steam Of Coffee!

When I dream in the steam of a coffee
and taste the sweet on my tongue -
I merge into the moment
and make-believe I'm still young!

Flashes of fancy and fashion -
colourful - brilliant and bright -
sparkle alive all my being
and leave my heart feeling light!

The steam curls up in a circle -
surrounding my sight in it's haze -
blocking out all of the nonsense
that often fills up my days!

Sometimes I sip it so slowly
and let it trickle my throat -
making the moment last longer -
as I feel all the happiness soak!
