Saying Goodbye
God this has been a crap year
I am finding it so hard
To fight back the tears,
It feels like my heart
Has been broken in two,
I am so sad and alone
Here without you,
Every time I see your photo
Hanging on the wall,
I find it hard
To accept you are gone,
I am so tired of everyone telling me
To get over it and move on,
They do not seem to understand
You have not been gone that long,
I guess for some people
It doesn't take them long
To move on,
I went to visit your grave
For the first time
Since you passed,
It has now been over three months
My how time flies by so fast,
A simple pain was all you had
And just like that you are gone,
Today it feels a little too hard for me
To find the strength to carry on,
