Secret Realm
I went through the open door
Looked back at the darkness
Then forward to the brilliance
That melted all my fears.
A bird in skies of blue,
The tender light of dusk
When I felt so close to you.
Some magic stole into my heart
From the world in which you dwelt
A place so warm and comforting,
Beautiful beyond understanding.
You know how wonderful it felt
To be with you in twilight's arms
To see amber dusk in your eyes
To sense hearts slowly mellowing,
To step into the land of Fantasy
And to leave the mundane behind
To blossom in our secret realm.
