Golden Age

Once I saw a palace of Gold
Where lovers dwell and never grow old;
I saw a sky of amber hue
In which lovers are born anew

Outside a river flowed on
Enriched by diamonds from the sun
And people lived in a brotherly love
For each other in the sacred grove.

Smiles had eclipsed the sorrowful heart
So that each person had a joy to impart;
Radiant eyes and laughter like harpsong
Filled the souls of that Heavenly Throng.

Is this too much of a magical dream,
This image of a love that is Supreme?
In this world so cruel and empty of hope
Let us send thoughts that will show the scope

Of imagination touched by Spiritual Light
The power to open the inward sight
Paving the way for a Golden Age
Where we will all enter life's stage

With a vision to share and a mission
To spread the message of truth and compassion
To bring the world a better understanding
Of a life that is wonderful and never ending.
