Oft I Wonder...Oft I wondered about my faith, And thankfully I have got it right! What if I am wasn't strong enough in though? Would I still get through every fight? You know, I have to tell it true, I wouldn't be fighting the fight, If it wasn't for my faith, my belief, And trust me, my faiths out of sight! And it's just as well, cos I hound Him, Throughout every day of my life, He helps me sort my head out, By helping me through all my strife! And when at times I am burdened, When things get to me really bad, That's when I'm grateful for my faith! Cos without it, I know I'd be sad! I lean on Him in the hard times, And thank Him during the good too! And in between I simply pray, But I don't think I'm as good as you... You see, at times I forget my prayers, And when I wake in the middle of the night, My hands join together and I start to pray, Then my praying gets out of sight! And when I fall asleep again, When I wake up through the night as I do, There I am, praying all over again! To make sure my prayers are getting through! And I cant begin to tell you... Just how many times I wake up to pray! And in case I forget again the next night, I make up for them in the day! I wonder if the LORD would be sad at me, For forgetting to pray, to my shame... I think that its detrimental to me... So once more, I am praying again! ‘Our Father up in heaven...
