 the night is full of memories...my body is hot all over...sleep evades my mind is elsewhere...remembering your soft gentle touch reliving our happier moments in our past when fires were hot somewhere...somehow...our past will mingle with our future sleep refuses to show its face as you invade my mind...my heart i see you where ever i look...i hear your voice within my mind looking into the mirror i see your face...feel your gentle caresses somewhere...somehow...our past will mingle with our future i am mesmerized with your effect upon me...still i have felt it before finding what has always been...amazes me...i had never understood realizing i always had these feelings...but didn't know what they were somewhere...somehow...our past will mingle with our future i am captured within my emotions...wanting more time alone with you am i being selfish to want you so much...to feel you once more to hear soft words spoken gently into my ears as you hold me close somewhere...somehow our past will mingle with our future i do not feel my age i am still young and vibrant only my body denies i want the passions we felt in the past to be shared now in the future looking in the mirror i dont see the young woman who captured your heart somewhere somehow...our past will mingle with our future what i do know of love is a look into your face watching your eyes seeing the old saying...love is better the second time around...has a new meaning what youth denied us...age will allow us...yes we have always been an us somewhere...somehow...our past will mingle with our future now we will always be an us...i will not let anything come between us again i have learned my lessons well...i have grown knowing what i've always had i want the happy times back...with a wiser twist...for now i know my soulmate somewhere...somehow...our past will mingle with our future Vote for this poem
