he waltzed into my life one night this tall dark handsome j g swept me off my feet with just a bat of his baby blue eyes they call that love at first sight i was to naive i didnt know waltzing matilda take my heart away our courtship was a whirlwind affair soon weddings bells rang life started out with little experience discovering our demons it was a tumulus affair our demons at war we were confused waltzing matilda take my heart away my heart was captured little did i know i felt what i didnt know i tried to forget go on with my life something was still missing turmoils i suffered for many years my heart always elsewhere waltzing matilda take my heart away then as fickle as only life can be it brought us back together the minute i walked into the room with him sitting there i knew this man of my dreams was still there my heart was now whole waltzing matilda take my heart away once more we are together as life had meant soulmates always mature now in our ways our hearts beating as one never to leave true to each other enthralled with each other deeply in love together waltzing matilda take my heart away Vote for this poem
