Love Is of the Soul
Circumstances change from day to day;
Sands shift along the shoreline,
Emotions swing high and are brought low.
Yet love stands like a rock, unmovable, unshakable;
Unchanged by the winds of this world.
Love is of the soul
Bridging that gulf between people;
Able to span great distance, touching the heart.
Bringing into union unique individuals,
Separate in their existence as the eyes see,
But welded within by the power of the heart.
Love is of the soul.
Friendships forged remain no matter what may come;
The storms of life cannot shake loose these ties.
Leaning on one another, we can live with our destiny;
No matter the cards dealt, no matter the hand played.
Reaching out across the expanse of this universe to you.
Love is of the soul.
Strong we become as we stand never alone.
This union of hearts becomes our freedom;
Free to live with hope, with faith, with love.
Free to smile in the face of adversity
Knowing that we are never alone in our walk.
