Lotus Flower
LOTUS FLOWER
Lotus flower is so beautiful
Everyone admires the beauty of it
It lives in the mud in the river
It grows in the shabby water of the river
They breathe in the mud for survival
Yet it is so attractive and
It is detached from the mud
Every one likes this flower
If we can live like lotus flower
Our life will be so beautiful
Can we be detached like lotus?
Yes I can, I said this to my friends
They asked me how can it be possible
I said the same way how the lotus flower
Lives in the mud and grows in the mud
Same way we live with our family and friends
Yet detached from them and do not cling on to them
Be care free and do not have any expectations
Observe the situations from a step back approach
Do the things you need to accomplish
And live like a lotus flower and see
How your life is fulfilled & contented
Then you may say life is so beautiful
Just like the lotus flower in the mud
