Hello, my name is Anita Winston I am 59 years' old, and I started writing poetry when I was 8 years' old, but I never thought to do anything with it until a domestic violence stepped in and took my precious sister's life. I then entered a contest, and this is where it all began after winning, so far, I have received two editor choice award certificate's and a bronze medal editor's award along with the pin, I then received the poetry ambassador award for 2006 and then I received the outstanding achievements in poetry award and the bronze poet of merit award along with a distinguished member award. And the poem you read called Love Me is dedicated to my sister in memory of: Ms. Janice Wharton.
