CELESTIAL ETERNITY

Mountains

Mountains
By Mark V. Markov

In these hard trials of life
Sometimes I feel perplexed, somewhat torn
By taking down the ego into its escalation
My escalation,

With my eyes wide open
It feels like my soul is in a realm
A realm of natural surroundings
As I see the magnificent mountains,

Mountains oh mountains
Can you hear the water fountains?
Bursting out of the rock
Flowing down the steep way,

Mountains oh mountains can you hear
As the cascading of the waterfall
Which enormously falls down?
Amidst the magnificent trees
And all those birds as they sing
To some beautiful melodies
Their singing do bring,

Did you know?
Did you know that sometimes
Those singing birds
Those singing birds
Are you and me
Just flying away
We are constantly
Looking for a branch of a tree,

Inside desperately searching
For a special place
Somewhere to hide
Hopefully in a shade of course
As far away from the burning Sunlight,

That place of comfort everyone tries to find
Somewhere there in God's grace
Where it's breezy cool, cozy sweet,
Gentle warm, all really nice,

Oh it feels like my soul is in a realm
Of natural surroundings
As I see the magnificent mountains,

Mountains oh mountains
Can you hear the water fountains?
Bursting out of the rock
Flowing down the steep way,

Mountains oh mountains can you hear
As the cascading of the waterfall
Which enormously falls down
Amidst the magnificent trees
And all those birds, they do sing,
To so many peaceful comfort
Their beautiful melodies bring
