She has always been an intriguing, loving, intelligent, family-oriented, welcoming individual who possesses an unsuspecting inner strength. Poetry is her means of expression that would otherwise remain unsaid. Her poetry will weave you through a symmetrical pattern, which reveals a taunting image of complexities that rival its balance.

She chose her pseudonym, “Dark Spain” as an honor to her great grandmother, Dorcas M. Spain.
