Inspired by my life
Hi
My name is Dave and I'm a cold war veteran from the late fifty's. I was a diet cook to help keep our fellow airmen's bellies full and keep the planes in the air. Snuck plenty of food in between meals for airman.
I am retired from construction work with a bad back.
My wife is my greatest inspiration. I always said she would kick my but into heaven. Soulmates only touches briefly on how great our relationship is.
Most of my poems are inspired by my life experiences. I hope you enjoy my poetry as much as I do yours.
