When I was temporarily unable to work and had time on my hands,
I discovered the pleasure of turning thoughts, ideas, memories,
and whims into a casual form of poetry. At the time, I lived
in a place with a large picture window that overlooked the Alaskan
mountains, which included a full view of the Sun, Moon, and Northern
Lights. It can be a pretty adventurous place to write about. I now
live in the mountains of North Carolina, which is a panorama all
