The girl that I love
If you asked for a picture of heaven,
I'd draw you a girl that I know, I'm
Especially proud, pick her out in
A crowd, for her goodness, her
Kindness, her glow.
Her mum's not as well as she once,
Was, her legs playing havoc again,
The doctor knows best, he's confined
To her rest, and she needs all the help
She can get.
Other girls might rely on a care home,
To administer love and respect, but
Not this girl I know, too much heart,
Too much soul, she'll look after her
Mother herself.
If you asked for a picture of heaven,
I'd draw you the girl as above, I'd not
Hesitate, to say that she's great, guess
You've guessed she's the girl that I love.
