My Cockatoo Henry developed a paternal instinct for the baby Stanley Parakeets listening to the sound of me feeding the chicks. He tried feeding them when offered by regurgitating food but I could not let him actually feed the baby. They were very tiny. Henry took up the role of a father and stayed nearby at the time of feeding 3 babies. Inie was one of the three chicks. They started flying and used to end up on Henry's open cage with a high perch. In the picture Inie sitting on the perch started packing at Henry's feet; He moved to the end of the perch but would not harm or even raise his crest. Both trusted each other and I trusted Henry and he trusted me. Later on Henry fell in love with Angel and had many baby cockatoo and they are now all over the UK. Bambie is their baby that came home because he started chewing feathers. There is a poem called BAMBI here on this site.

Trust is reliance
on the integrity,
strength, ability
and surety of a
person or thing.

Trust is confident
expectation of
something from
a person or thing.

Trust is like Love.
You fall in love
without any logic.
You just love.

Trust someone is
not based on logic.
Either you trust or
you don't trust.

Trust is like glass,
once it is broken
it's gone like the
broken glass
