I write from the heart, and how I feel
Waiting Time
BY Damara Coler
10/19/19
The wait keeps dragging on,
Extending out in a never-ending song.
I count the seconds that turn to minutes,
then days.
Wanting to have the time pass by in all kind of ways,
Moving fast then slower randomly.
I keep holding my breath with the longevity,
Afraid to have anticipation carry away from me.
One day the day will come,
when we can meet and embrace with our arms.
No matter what people say,
You are staying in my life indefinitely.
I look forward to all the days to come,
Being here and being strong.
I love you.
