God's Scribe Poetry Selections
I graduated from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY. I have a B.S. degree in elementary education with a minor in psychology. I recently finished my first and second years of teaching. I taught 5th grade at Eastern Elementary School, near Louisville, and Sumner Academy, near Nashville, where I taught 5th and 6th grade Social Studies and 5th grade Literature. I have recently moved back to Tennessee, my home sweet home.
I fell in love with poetry at a young age and have been writing poetry and short-stories since I learned how to write. I use the name God's Scribe because I believe that God is the real author in a majority of my work. I believe that it is He who tells me the words and I am a simple scribe for His glory.
I started this site in hopes of having my writings serve a purpose. I have always felt that poetry is written to be read, and if it is not being read it is not serving its purpose. I hope you enjoy my selections and gain an understanding of life and spirituality through the eyes of a young poet.
Please feel free to visit my guest book and leave any comments or suggestions to help me in my pursuit. Thank you for visiting my site and taking the time to read about me.
