 THE  SHEPHERDS  EYES
Knowing that the LORDS eyes are ever upon us
is a peace found in no other place.

There's  a  voice  calling  me,  from  an  old
Rugged  tree,  but  there's  a  dozen  more
                        Screaming  in  my  head

In  His  valley  there  is  peace
But  for  my  mind,  there's  no  release
From  this  torment,  will  I  ever  be  set  free

In  the  Psalms  it  is  said,  we'll  have  sweet  sleep
Upon  our  bed,   But  in  the  night,  loneliness
                          and  despair  they  visit  me

How  much  easier  it  would  be If  only  I  had
                    Leprosy,  understanding  of  my  plight
                        There  would  surely  be

But  my  broken  brain  no  one  can  see,  so  it's  easy
To  deny,   there's  little  value  on  my  life,  but  still
The  Shepherds  eyes,  are  watching  me.
