Run Into Love

Don't pull away; I love you
A million times a day, I think of you
Thought to see you blessed and prosper
Please think about what I offer
I see your sin and where it has left you
I know you heart, I know it upsets you
I am the judge, and my judgement has come
But the sentence has been served by my son
He turned away my anger and my wrath
And all the sins of the world have been cast
If you would only come to me; listen and believe
Let's work together and see what we achieve
Bring all your guilt, your hurts, and your shame
I offer abundant, eternal life in exchange
Give me all your failures; I will give you hope
I'll give you what's whole; you give me what's broke
The world is not your friend; they only pretend to be
Don't let them convince you that I am you enemy
Before your first breath, I have had a love for you
You can't even imagine the life I've prepared for you
Don't run from me every time you mess up
Pretending you're okay, like play dress up
Come to me, confess it and repent
Come in the name of the son who was sent
He will clean you up; put you on the path again
He came not to condemn but to take away your sin
But without confession there is no repentance
And without repentance there is no forgiveness
I knew what you would do; I knew where you would be
I prepare a way long ago for you to come to me
So don't run away; let us sit and talk about it
Then you can tell the entire world as you shout about it
“I have been redeemed, I have been made new”
And many others will be reborn through you
