My Life (post divorce and empty nest) in Sonnets
Hello there!
Thank you for your continued interest in me and my poetry. I am a 46 year old American/British/German/Irish woman. I was born in Monterey, California on an Army base that is now the location of Cal State Monterey Bay. This is fitting because I've always loved education and I've been teaching High School English for 13 years. I am currently in an interracial marriage with a black man. Previously, I was married to a Mexican immigrant for 22 years. We had two children who are of mixed ethnicity, a son (aged 26) and another child who is 22 years old. I live with my husband and two dachshunds in Southern California (Los Angeles County).
