Hello... My name is Julie but I love Jewels better.
I have just recently started expressing myself
through my writings a little after summer of 2004
and doing my best with it all!
I really do love reading poetry
and doing my best at trying to write it...
But, my life is very busy so I read and write when I can...
My poems I write here at Jewels Safe Haven Of Poetry
Are about my trials and tribulations throughout my life
about emotional feelings and thoughts,
decisions plus choices and my beliefs...
they are feelings from my heart and mind...
basically poems of my life's issues and experiences.

At first my poems were about certain issues
which it helped at first to get those feelings out
but then after awhile I started trying to write poems
to pick myself up but as I had read on other sites
of the pains and hurts of many others of how they felt...
as I have felt and at times still do...
I started trying to write inspiring and encouraging poems even more...
Which with every down or bad moment I had
I would try replacing them with good moments
Yen ~ Yang so to speak...
This is why my poems go from good days and bad days
they're of what I was feeling daily from moments to moments...
Happiness to Sadness and Sadness to Happiness...

I have also done my best at writing poems of events
for all my love ones such as birthdays, anniversaries,
valentines, holidays (which at times when I could -
I would send little presents too and write poems to
go with each gift too), and to express my love for my family
and friends in which ever ways I feel and can say it to them,
and like I mentioned earlier - other issues in my life too.
