Welcome and thanks for visiting my site.
My name is John W Flournoy and I have been a long-time member of poetrypoems though I have been absent for a time.
During my time away I pulled together some of my poems to create my first book of poems; Across the Miles and Years. It contains close to 100 of my poems and is priced low. I never intended to make any money from the book and have done nothing to promote it up to this point. However, if you like my poems you are welcome to buy my book from Amazon, BN, or from your local bookstore.
I will most likely not be participating in the forums as I prefer to post my poems in private forums that can't be viewed by any but a select few of my fellow poets.
I will post a few here that have been published in my book, or elsewhere on the web and are thereby not eligible for submission to poetic journals or contests.
