Poem for my Auntie and Nieces
A birthday card is not a complex endever
We're it not that I was the worst uncle/nephew ever
An occasional note to see how you guys are
would take little effort
But in 39 years I've failed so far
Extended family is something in this culture people often take or leave
Some struggle to evens see their immediates at a squeeze
Often if we're honest this is something of a relief
Heathy indifference
Nothing in the realm of haters
But certain cousins
Let's say
I'm happy to keep at weddings and funerals only status
But you guys are actually likeable
We actually think your kind of cool
The FAR too infrequent times we have met up
It's not just been a vacation
Some where to lodge for our countryside leisure
Your company was actually an apsolute pleasure!
Auntie and cousins we actually love you
It's just when it comes to time and relationship management we're kind of poo
