Wisdom is knowing when to speak your mind and when to mind your speech.

A Thought on Age
"It takes an entire lifetime to live authentically. It is the striving to be authentic that makes you so, not the end result. When you think you've arrived, you realize you've come all this way just to begin again."
- Sarah Ban Breathnach
Dreams Faded Felt Jaded Lord Saved
When she was a young girl she wanted her own boutique
Working for a photographer she learned business techniques
She saved money for her own dress place
She worked, saved, dreamed and had a good pace
Was headed in a straight lady-like way
Almost in a flash her dreams and hopes went away
Her Mother died
She tried to hide
Insurance spent, she paid for her mother's funeral
Her father traveled from another town no collateral
He promised his daughter he'd pay her back
He disappeared and never did, he was a quack
She quit her job, broke off an engagement
The gentleman didn't help with any arrangements
She traveled and spent her savings
Became irresponsible and had other cravings
Was hard waking up day after day
Nowhere to go, no one to speak to, no one who cared
No life
No dreams
Just a shut in
Easy to have friends when you have the money
They help you shop and spend it isn't funny
She became recluse, read books
Stayed in and away from all the crooks
Now she was alone, but not yet lonely
She read her Bible and prayed to her one and only
Then one night she dreamt of meeting a man named David
This dream so real he wore blue jeans and was so vivid
And through a friend she met this man named David
They became friends and fell in love and she was never lonely again
